Enjoy a beautiful and cultural experience depth explanations and the sharing of stories that connect us to the natural cosmic cycles of the Andes. This activity follows the Andean Agrarian Ritual calendar celebrated at Kusi Kawsay and Kusi Ñan.

Enjoy a ten-minute walk to visit the Kusi Kawsay Andean School and a brief introduction to this exceptional educational project and unique vision that combines elements of Waldorf Pedagogy with Andean tradition. Arrive just in time to admire the happy students and dedicated teachers in their morning rhythm in their classroom, and be moved by each class’s seasonal song to start their day. Be inspired by explanations as you visit the beautiful school grounds and learn about the pillars of Andean culture, music and sacred geometry, taught at Kusi Kawsay. Participate in a ritual song, and connect to and honor this land and culture.

Walk down to Kusi Ñan Organic Farm to participate in this inspirational youth lead project.  Enjoy a snack before you start a guided tour through the garden, sampling the produce along the way. Experience an enriching cultural immersion by working in the garden side by side with the local youth who practice their ancestral culture through agriculture and music tied to the Andean Calendar. Learn about the values of reciprocity and respect. Harvest produce for your lunch at “Cuchara de Palo” restaurant, and explore the wealth of Peruvian Cuisine.
